Education and Training
Certified Professional Biller Course
In collaboration with Physician Practice Resources, provides training, test prep, and exams; as well as membership into AAPC.
Kennedy-King College
GECDC works with Kennedy-King College to increase awareness and enrollment of services, certificates, and degree programs that increase employability.
- Tuition-free English as a Second Language classes
- Tuition-free classes to earn high school equivalency certificate (GED)
- Dawson Technical Institute for trade certificate and degree programs through the Construction Technology Center
- Washburne Culinary & Hospitality Institute for Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Baking & Pastry Arts
One-on-One Coaching
We provide individual support for those that are employed, underemployed, and unemployed. These sessions cover topics such; as salary negotiations, resume review, mock interviews, and navigating employment laws.
Employment Services
We partner with Skills for Chicagoland’s Future to connect individuals with employment and paid skills training opportunities that lead to meaningful career growth.
